Current information on Edmund's music
Edmund has been commissioned to write a piece as part of the Cultural Olympiad. The 20 minute piece 'A river runs through' will be performed on the 19th July, 2012, when the Olympic Torch passes through Leeds Castle.
Edmund has been
commissioned by the Tempest Flute Trio to write a piece for their season of
concerts this year.
'Follow the Star' has been given an honorable mention in the 25th Annual
Seasonal Song writing Competition, 2011 by The Amadeus Choir, Toronto.
'O my deir
hert' for choir has been accepted by OUP for publication and will be available in May 2012.
Edmund recently
started teaching composition at the Royal Academy of Music. He has also begun
his tenure as visiting composer at King's High School, Warwick. His first piece for them 'Taking Off' will be performed in May.
The most recent series of 'Who do you think you are' (BBC 1) featured music by Edmund. He is now scoring the next series. He is currently scoring an independent film starring Nick Moran, a documentary about the designer Leon Max and the ITV series 'Long Lost Family'.
